Difference between vegetarian and Jain food
Practicing the Jain meals in the daily routine involves careful meal planning and, thus, preparation as well. We often get confused with the pure vegetarian thali and Jain meals.
Actually, there is a wide difference in both types of food menus, as a vegetarian food restaurant can include all the veggies in it, but Jain food does not contain rooted and underground vegetables in their thali.
Jain followers are subjected to choosing fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables that are not rooted grains, nuts, and seeds. Though Jain meals are termed to be simple but are added with various species and herbs, they enrich the taste of the food even with the restricted ingredients.
